Kidspace 2014 Board of Directors
October 1, 2012
Dear Museum Friends,
Great things are happening at Kidspace. Bottle rockets are blasting into the air, giant levers for a “tug of war”, cool wind fans and you can even construct a raceway. All this and more at our new Galvin Physics Forest. I am pleased to say that the grand opening of this new exhibit in July has been a wonderful success and the children of our community have been enjoying interacting with the exhibits and learning about physics in a new and “fun” way.
Kidspace also kicked off a new Campaign for the Future of Kidspace. This campaign will raise 13 million dollars for new and enhanced exhibits, guest amenities, and educational programming. The new Galvin Physics Forest was just the first of many new exciting plans to engage young learners in the natural sciences and especially to inspire their curiosity and sense of discovery.
Master planning is underway to be sure your experience at Kidspace is always new and fresh. We are adding exhibits, new camps, workshops and early childhood classes, all to enhance your children’s learning experience while at the same time providing them with an environment filled with inspiration. Whenever I am at Kidspace the experience is always uplifting and amazing as I watch the children interact with the exhibits and learn so much while having a day they will remember with delight.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Kidspace staff, I want to thank you for being a part of this remarkable year in Kidspace history. We could not achieve milestones like we’ve had this year without the support from our community, our friends, neighbors, and families. It is your support and belief in our mission that keeps us striving to learn more, to constantly try to improve, and to always raise the bar.
Warm personal regards,
J. Kristoffer Popovich
Chairman of the Board
