
Part-Time Museum Educator
Kidspace Children's Museum is seeking dynamic individuals with strong presentation skills, an interest in the natural sciences, as well as the creative and performing arts and a love of working with children of all ages.
As an integral member of the Education Team, Museum Educators work throughout the Museum to ensure that all guests, families, and school groups have an outstanding experience. Museum Educators are responsible for leading a variety of programs in the areas of environmental and physical science, health and fitness, literacy, cultural education, and the arts. Based on performance and availability, Educators can advance to facilitate workshops, teach on-site programs to school groups, process transactions in the Busy Bee Learning Store and Ticket Booth, or facilitate birthday parties.
All candidates must pass a background check and be fingerprinted. Employment is contingent upon a clear background check. Educators are expected to be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week including at least one full (8-hour) weekend day per week and at least one after-hours event per quarter.
