Free Family Nights

The first Tuesday of the month from 4:00 to 8:00pm is Kidspace's Free Family Night.  Admission to the museum is FREE for everyone during these hours only. On these special nights, Kidspace will promote family learning about the arts, while emphasizing the diverse cultures and communities present in Greater Los Angeles. Expect crowds and long admission lines during the spring and summer months. Themed activities will be facilitated between 4:30 and 7:30pm. (Note: There is no Free Family Night in September.)

Tuesday, January 2

Learn about and experience The Art of Pasadena. Enjoy a visit from the Norton Simon Museum and a local artist from the USC Pacific Asia Museum as they help you create your own works of art. At 6:00pm, join Kidspace in the Celebration Center for a performance by Lineage Dance Company.

Tuesday, February 6

Pasadena is known for its collection of architecture and California Historical Landmarks. From bungalows to midcentury to modernist masterpieces, Pasadena architecture paints a three dimensional picture of the California experience. Through The Art of How We Live, explore the patterns of Frank Lloyd Wright through a stained glass art project, let the Rose Bowl inspire you to build your own stadium, and join us for a special presentation at 6:00pm.

Tuesday, March 6

Celebrate The Art of Spring and Friendship jubilations from around the globe. Dance with Kidspace to the music of Bollywood at 6:00pm in the Stone Hollow Amphitheater followed by a Holi Festival color throw at 7:00pm on the Physics Forest patio.
