Free Family Nights

The first Tuesday of the month from 4:00 to 8:00pm is Kidspace's Free Family Night.  Admission to the Museum is FREE for everyone during these hours only. Families can engage with special programming and performers that highlight cultures and traditions from around the world. Expect crowds and long admission lines during the spring and summer months. (Note: July 2017 Free Family Night is 2nd Tuesday of the month due to the 4th of July holiday. There is no Free Family Night in September.)

Tuesday, July 11 (NOTE: 2nd Tuesday due to 4th of July holiday)

Celebrate the summer and the great outdoors with a Teddy Bear Picnic at Kidspace Children’s Museum!  “Eat like a bear”, play picnic games, and become a bear by making your own Teddy Bear Ears.  Guests are encouraged to bring their own Teddy Bear or other furry friend and a picnic to enjoy in the Arroyo Adventure! 

Special Performance at 6:00 p.m. in the Stone Hollow Amphitheater.

Tuesday, August 1

Celebrate and honor science pioneers like astronomer Maria Mitchell, discoverer of “Miss Mitchell's Comet." Learn more about Mitchell and the work of other space pioneers through comet art, building a viewer for the 2017 solar eclipse, and more!

At 6:00pm join us for an interactive presentation in the Stone Hollow Amphitheater.

NO FREE FAMILY NIGHT

 

 

IN ORDER TO MAKE YOUR FREE FAMILY NIGHT ENJOYABLE, PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Stay in close proximity to your children at all times.
  • Shoes are required at all times with the exception of the S. Mark Taper Foundation Early Childhood Learning Center.
  • Please be respectful of Museum exhibits, staff, and guests.
  • Kidspace has a set number of guests that can be allowed into the Museum at any one time. Guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no pre-registration for admission.
  • Kidspace reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone that poses a threat to the well-being of Museum guests or property.
