Free Family Nights

The first Tuesday of the month from 4:00 to 8:00pm is Kidspace's Free Family Night. Admission to the museum is FREE for everyone during these hours only. On these special nights, Kidspace will promote family learning about the arts, while emphasizing the diverse cultures and communities present in Greater Los Angeles. Expect crowds and long admission lines during the spring and summer months. Themed activities will be facilitated between 4:30 and 7:30pm. (Note: There is no Free Family Night in September. A limited number of RSVP tickets are offered to Goldstar members, but their numbers do not reflect Kidspace capacity.)

Tuesday, June 5

See how art can support the environment and learn what you can create while being green! Make art out of items that might have been otherwise thrown away, create posters to communicate ways we can take action to care for earth, and learn about plants that help California save water.

Tuesday, July 3

Express the beauty of nature through art. Create your own nature journal, participate in our nature photography challenge, and learn about the stories in the sky. Join us 6:00pm in the Stone Hollow Amphitheater for the Wildlife Learning Center’s North American Animals presentation.

Tuesday, August 7

Learn about the history of California through its art! Weave a traditional Native American basket, make a terra cotta tile, and shoot a stop motion film. Travel through California history via song with the musical presentation O’California at 6:00pm in Stone Hollow Amphitheater.
