Free Family Nights

The first Tuesday of every month from 4:00 to 8:00pm is Kidspace's Free Family Night.  Admission to the Museum is FREE for everyone during these hours only. Families can engage with special programming and performers that highlight cultures and traditions from around the world. Expect crowds and long admission lines during the spring and summer months.

“Fruitcake Toss Day!” Join us for this and other New Year’s traditions from around the world.  Guests are invited to bring their fruitcake to fling on our target range. 

Don’t miss the wacky antics of Rene’s Marionettes featuring Joe Selph at 6:00pm.

Explore the diverse and rich culture of Black History Month. 

Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans that recognizes the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.  Join us for a special storyteller performance at 6:00pm.

Celebrate the Holi Festival, a springtime celebration from the country of India. The Holi Festival is also known as the festival of colors and community. The evening’s festivities conclude with a traditional color throw!

Enjoy a special cultural performance at 6:00pm.

 

 

IN ORDER TO MAKE YOUR FREE FAMILY NIGHT ENJOYABLE, PLEASE OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Stay in close proximity to your children at all times.
  • Shoes are required at all times with the exception of the S. Mark Taper Foundation Early Childhood Learning Center.
  • Please be respectful of Museum exhibits, staff, and guests.
  • Kidspace has a set number of guests that can be allowed into the Museum at any one time. Guests will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no pre-registration for admission.
  • Kidspace reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone that poses a threat to the well-being of Museum guests or property.
