Stop by the Flutterby Art Center to make insects, organic collages and much more. We use all organic and natural materials to encourage environmental stewardship and combine the best of art and science.
Kidspace hosts art programming daily.
- Program hours: 12pm to 4pm
- Rainy day schedule: All day
- Each of the four art carts has a different theme.
- Build It Cart- Create 3-D sculptures
- Petite Artiste Cart - Find your inner artist through drawing
- Messy Cart - Get down and dirty with painting activities
- Eco Cart - Learn to respect the environment with recycled art activities while discovering different nature artists
Flutterby Art Workshops
Join us for a fun-filled art workshop combining the best of art and science. We offer different programs throughout the year, such as the basics of the “salting-out” effect, candle making, or creating sculptures using seashells. Use these and other scientific theories in new, interesting and artistic ways. Come learn scientific facts as you create beautiful art pieces.
Program Time: 2pm on the second Sunday of each month
