Spring Camps
April 2-6, 2012
From the creepiest, crawliest bugs to the how’s, what’s and why’s of the human body to the mysteries of outer space. Kidspace Camps are here to help your little explorer go that much deeper into the world of the unknown.
At Kidspace Camps, explorers not only find out the answers to questions like why do humans and animals scab, ooze and smell? But they’ll also discover how physics can be art. Your campers will spend the day in and outside of the museum exploring, creating and discovering the world around them in a whole new light.
All About Bugs!
April 2-6, 2012
For Children ages 6-10
Come and learn the science behind what makes bugs tick, hiss, squeak, creep and crawl, and why they are so important for our environment. Campers will have the opportunity to visit with some of our in-house bug friends and go searching for the bugs that call the Pasadena Arroyo their home! We’ll recreate the beauty of a butterfly wing, fashion our own silly caterpillars and imagine what our own bug might look like, do and where it might live. All that and much more at this year’s Spring Camp: “All About Bugs!”

What to Bring
- Your child must bring a lunch with him or her each day. If you would like to purchase lunch for your child you may do so at the beginning of camp. Healthy snacks are provided by Kidspace during camp sessions.
- Please have your child wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Please be prepared to send your child with a change of clothes and a towel as we might get wet!
- Be sure to have your child wear sunscreen as we have the opportunity to leave the camp space every so often for outdoor activities and lunch time play.
