Welcome to the wonderful world of Kidspace Summer Camps! We have an exciting lineup of programs this year that promise to transport your child to a world of exploration and adventure where they will create lasting memories. Camp descriptions and pricing are below. CAMP DESCRIPTIONS & DATES

You will receive a confirmation upon completion of your online transaction.  A week prior to the start of your camp you will receive an email from Brooke Applegate with camp registration documents that will need to be completed by the first day of camp.  IF YOU ARE A MEMBER, BE SURE TO LOG IN WITH YOUR MEMBER NUMBER TO REGISTER WITH MEMBER RATES. 

Amazing Animals Camp
June 8 to 12

Discover the amazing world of the animal kingdom, and explore how animals make the planet a fascinating and beautiful place!  Campers will learn about the wonders of adaptation, meet all the members of the Kidspace animal collection, examine the ways in which animals survive and thrive in different environments, and explore the human-animal connection.  After going on a safari, stepping into the shoes of a veterinarian, and making their very own animal costume, campers will realize that “acting like an animal” can be a good thing!



Inventors Camp
June 15 to 19

Dive headfirst into the creative world of invention! Campers will earn about the inventors and creations that have shaped our modern world, discover the tools and technologies that make ideas come to life. Build, play, and have fun inventing your way through wacky challenges and problems, and discover the creative genius inside you!



Little Learners Camp NEW!
June 22 to 26

Designed exclusively for children ages 4 to 5. Little Learners Campers will have a different adventure each day in and around Kidspace. They will plant their own crops, create art, and experience the joys of getting messy, play in and learn about water, dress up as their favorite animal and meet some of Kidspace’s resident animals. Campers will work together to set up a “campsite” which will be the center of their camp experience. Filled with wonderful opportunities for imaginative play, Little Learners Camp promises to instill a love for nature and the great outdoors in your little learner.



Digging Deeper Camp
July 6 to 10

Step into the worlds of paleontology and archaeology in this exciting new camp! From mummies to dinosaurs, we will be uncovering the mysteries of the past.  Campers will embark upon digs to learn about the tools and techniques scientists use in the field, make and erupt their own volcanoes, build pyramids, excavate and identify fossils and artifacts, and draw conclusions about the past based on what they find! Finally, we will make and bury our own 2015 camp time capsule!



Mad Scientist Camp 
July 13 to 17

Explore the wonderful world of science in this wacky camp! While donning their own lab coats, goggles, and kooky wigs, campers will discover how and why things explode, what produces spectacular chemical reactions, make their own rockets, slime and static electricity machines, and try their hands at all sorts of exciting science experiements that go pop, fizz, and sparkle!



Water Wonders Camp
July 27 to 31

Come play with and investigage water in this tons of fun, physically engaging, and mentally challenging wet adventure. After water-based art projects, ice sculptures, water testing, and building water balloon launchers, campers will come home a lot wetter than they came. Get suited up and ready to soak up some fun, friendship, and soggy memories!


JPL Outer Space Camp SOLD OUT!

Journey into outer space with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory! Led in part by specialists from JPL, campers will explore the environments and atmosphere of outer space and create their own imaginary place in the galaxy with activities such as Outer Space Olympics, walking on the solar system, making a “universe in a jar”, and creating olive oil constellations. Campers will also learn what food and equipment an astronaut takes into space by packing for their own space mission!

*All camps are designed for children ages 5 to 9 years old, with the exception of Little Learners Camp. Children must meet the age requirements in order to enroll in and remain in camp.

**Activities in the morning are always different from activities in the afternoon. Activities are never repeated every session is different.
