Meet Diane Lang, author of Vulture Verses: Love Poems for the Unloved

Many picture books about snakes, spiders, and other often-feared creatures focus on the threatening or alarming aspects of these animals. But all have their place in nature, and Diane points out the appealing aspects of each, even flies and mosquitoes, with enthusiasm—and in rhyme! 

Diane will read her book and share in a Kidspace Animal Encounter with some of our "misunderstood" critters.  As a renowned naturalist, she leads children's programs at three wildlife centers in California and looks forward to sharing her knowledge and love of animals with the Kidspace family.

Following the reading and animal lesson, Diane will autograph her book for guests and participants.  This event will take place in the Busy Bee Learning Store, where Vulture Verses is available for purchase.

The author signing is free and sign-ups/RSVP is NOT required, however, books for purchase are while supplies last.
