The Kidspace Circle of Friends are getting ready to save the day. On February 2nd they are throwing the gala of the year, “City of Heroes: Fighting for Truth, Justice, and Kidspace for All.” These super women have been hard at work planning an amazing night all to benefit Kidspace Children’s Museum. The evening will feature a silent and live auction, a raffle, dinner, and dancing at the Parkway Grill in Pasadena.

Our guests will be fully decked out as their favorite heroes and villains while they celebrate. Caped crusaders will have an opportunity to bid on amazing packages including a stay in Paris, a Nashville set visit, and a block party catered by Gus’s BBQ.

None of this could be possible without our heroes, the Circle of Friends. These dedicated volunteers log countless hours to organize this 400-person party which includes everything from décor to item procurement for the auction. All of the committees serve under the fearless leadership of the dynamic duo of Andrea Shaffer and Laura Repstad. I have had the pleasure of working closely with this POWerful team, and I am looking forward to suiting up with them next weekend and raising money for my hero headquarters, Kidspace.

If you would like to learn more about the annual Kidspace Benefit, please visit the page or feel free to contact me directly. If you are planning on attending this year, come say hi at check-in. I’ll give you a hint to my gutsy guise: “Snakes, I hate snakes.”
