Kidspace Circle of Friends: you are Rock Stars! On February 1st they threw the party of the year, “It’s Only Rock and Roll, a Benefit for Kidspace Children’s Museum.” These rockin’ chicks put in a tremendous amount of time and hard work planning an amazing night all to support Kidspace. Thank you!

The totally hip evening featured a silent and live auction, a raffle, dinner, and lots of dancing at the Parkway Grill in Pasadena. Our guests were fully decked out as their favorite rock and rollers from the last few decades. Whether you were Elvis or Slash, you had an opportunity to bid on incredible packages including a ride on the Good Year Blimp, floor seats to a One Direction concert, and a block party catered by Gus’s BBQ.

None of this could be possible without the Museum’s Rock Stars, the legendary Circle of Friends. These dedicated volunteers log countless hours to organize this huge party which includes everything from décor to item procurement for the auction. All of the committees serve under the leadership of their band leaders Laura Thompson, Tricia Nur, and Julie Soma. I have had the pleasure of working closely with this super cool team, and I had an awesome time rocking out with them and raising money for my gig, Kidspace.
