This week at the Kidspace Book Club we are reading books all about Math. There are lots of ways that we use math every day. We use math for maps, cooking, and music!

For my math Book Share, I was inspired by Loreen Leedy’s book, Measuring Penny. In this book a young girl named Lisa gets a homework assignment to measure something. Lisa decides to measure her dog Penny. She learns so much about her dog, I decided to measure my dog too.

I made a book called Measuring Rocco as my Book Share. Based on what I had read in Measuring Penny, I measured my dog Rocco in many different ways. You can view my book here.  I hope you enjoyed my Book Share! It was so much fun to learn about my dog Rocco using math in lots of different ways. Come visit us this weekend at the Kidspace Book Club in Arroyo Adventure where you can read Measuring Penny, and lots of other really fun books about math!
