Free Family Night – Fun for Everyone!

Every month Kidspace celebrates our amazing community with Free Family Night*, a themed evening with performers, take home activities, and open 2976 museum access for everyone. This year, visitors have experienced a traditional chalk throw during our Indian Holi Festival; made leis on Hawaiian Lei Day; enjoyed the mysterious music of the Theremin during Science Fiction night; and more.

But how do we make it all happen?

With the generosity of special partners, and supporters like you!

Thanks to the City of Pasadena’s Cultural Affairs Division, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the National Charity League San Marino Chapter, and other supporters of our Kidspace for All efforts, we are able to open the museum to guests at no cost for Free Family Night.

2977 We have very exciting evenings planned for you in July and August!

This coming Tuesday, July 11, we will host a Teddy Bear Picnic and salute our local parks and their citizens with a nod to one of America’s first parks conservationists, Theodore Roosevelt. Bring your favorite Teddy Bear and a picnic meal for an evening of fun and games.

On Tuesday, August 1, join us as we honor science pioneers like astronomer Maria Mitchell who discovered “Miss Mitchell’s Comet.” Visit the Stone Hollow Amphitheater for an interactive presentation, and build your own viewer for the 2017 solar eclipse.
