early learners programs
These classes invite young children to explore the world of books, express themselves through art and music, investigate science and the environment, learn about healthy eating and exercise, and most importantly - play. Program fees do not include admission to Kidspace Children's Museum on class days.

• Baby and Me (ages 1-2): Brings children together with caregivers to play and learn in a stimulating environment.
• Art Moves (ages 3-4): Focuses on the importance of art and movement by exposing children to a variety of fine art mediums, song, dance and interactive games.
• Lil' Sprouts (ages 3-4): Design and plant a garden, whip up a healthy snack using ingredients from the harvest, and create a connection with the natural world.

• Parenting Workshops (for parents of children ages 0-18): Workshops offer an opportunity to develop parenting skills and increase knowledge about child development while creating a community of support. Experienced parenting professionals offer a wide variety of perspectives, strategies and approaches to foster diverse parenting styles.

Kidspace offers a variety of interactive programs to enhance traditional classroom instruction in the areas of art, science and culture. Programs are available during field trip visits to Kidspace and all programs meet both National and California Content Standards. Kidspace offers different special programs year round, each for a limited time only.  Program topics and offerings vary, so be sure to check our calendar of events for the most current information.

• Art Workshops: Kids receive formal instruction and hands-on opportunities to explore various art mediums including plein air painting, creative writing, candle/soap making, sculpture and more. Topics rotate quarterly, call (626) 449-9144 ext. 5230 for information and dates.
• Girl Scout Badge Days: Brownie and Junior troops can visit Kidspace as a group and complete activities required to earn specific badges. Programs led by Kidspace Educators. Call (626) 449-9144 ext. 5229 for information and dates.
• In the Kidspace Kitchen Cooking Classes: Together, kids and parents learn about the chemistry of cooking, the natural processes used to produce food, and how to make delicious meals/desserts. Call (626) 449-9144 ext. 5214 for information and dates.
• Summer Camps: Kidspace offers educational and enriching summer day camps each July/August. Morning and afternoon sessions are available, and camps include nature, art and science programming in an outdoor setting. Click here for camp information and registration.
