Things To Know

Allergies
Kidspace has 14 gardens full of pollen, a cafe full of wheat, dairy products and nuts, and a real hive full of bees!  If anyone in your group has allergies, please be careful and alert Kidspace staff if you need any assistance.

Best time to avoid crowds
On weekdays, Kidspace welcomes school groups for field trips. School groups generally leave by 1:30p.m. If you desire a calmer, more peaceful experience for your toddler or infant's visit to Kidspace, consider visiting in the afternoons between 1:30 and 5p.m..

Pets
Dogs and other pets are not permitted inside Kidspace Children's Museum, with the exception of dogs specially trained to assist disabled persons.

Helmets for trikes
Kidspace provides helmets to children who wish to ride a trike on our Trike Tracks, and these helmets are disinfected daily. All trike riders must wear a helmet. Guests are welcome to bring their own helmets from home.

Lockers
Storage lockers are available for diaper bags and other personal belongings for a $2 charge.

Recommended attire
Water is a big element of Kidspace. Please bring footwear appropriate for getting wet, a towel and a change of clothes for children who may want to enjoy the
Splash Dance Fountain and the Interpretive Arroyo exhibits. All guests, even wet ones, are required to wear shoes at Kidspace.

Safety
Kidspace is a large site with many physically interactive activities.  Please keep track of your child, or children, at all times.

Smoking
For the health and safety of our guests and animals, smoking is prohibited on the Kidspace grounds.

Strollers
Please be advised that strollers are not allowed in our indoor exhibit areas. For your convenience, we provide a stroller parking area just outside of various indoor spaces.
