A simple machine is the simplest mechanism that can provide mechanical advantage. The six classics that we will explore are: levers, wheel and axle, inclined plane, wedge, screw and pulley. Simple machines are considered to be the "building blocks" of more complicated machines. In this workshop we will build and use simple machines for some amazing and fun results.

Workshop fee is $7 per child and an accompanying adult in addition to regular museum admission.
