Campaign for the Future of Kidspace

In 2012, the Board of Directors launched a powerful $13 million capital campaign, which would allow Kidspace to take full advantage of its physical and natural resources, to expand its capacity to serve children, and to form meaningful community partnerships. With support from the Honorary Committeethe stage was set for Kidspace to reach its potential as a leader in children’s museums and informal education.

As of June 2017, there is only $247,000 left to raise!  We are extremely thankful to the community and our generous donors who have helped us reach this point.  We encourage others to participate.  Now is the best time to make a gift because every gift will be matched dollar for dollar by the GGE Foundation Challenge Grant.  Help us cross the finish line!  GIVE to GROW TODAY!

The Campaign for the Future of Kidspace has included new exhibits, operational upgrades, expanded programming, and financial sustainability.  The campus has been transformed over the past five years, providing interactive experiences for a higher number of children and families each year.

What we do here at Kidspace goes way beyond “play.”  Kidspace allows children to explore, pretend, create, and most importantly, build confidence.  Our youngest guests walk away filled with pride, joy, and a desire to learn.  New discoveries take place each time a child visits the campus.

Exhibits made possible by the Campaign for the Future of Kidspace so far include:

The final phase of the Campaign will include enhancements to Kirby’s Kids Corner and most importantly, a renovation and re-opening of the Splash Dance Fountains.
