Welcome to Kidspace Camp! Here at camp we adventure, explore, and investigate to learn, create memories, and make friends. We sing camp songs, play games, get involved in some amazing activities and projects, and eat lunch with friends both new and old. We learn, play, and explore in every part of the museum from Galvin Physics Forest to Climbing Towers to the Arroyo Adventure stream. Come join us and make some amazing camp memories!

Kidspace Camp Information
 

Fees and Registration

 
  • Full Day Camp Registration Fee is $450 for one week of camp week [$405 for Kidspace Members] | Early Learner Camp Registration Fee is $225 for one week of camp [$202.50 for Kidspace Members]
  • Sholarships for the 2019 Summer Camp season open March 1, 2019.
  • In addition to the paid registration, each camper must have an online camper form completed no later than the Monday the week before camp begins. If you child is attending mulitplie weeks of camp, it is only necessary to complete this form once.
  • A parent or guardian must be present at drop off on the first day of camp to wet-sign the camper registration sheet. 
  • Cancellations are required three weeks before the first day of camp for a full refund and two weeks before the first day of camp for a partial refund. Cancelations after two weeks prior to the start of camp will not be refunded. 
  • Discounts for partially attended weeks are not available.
     

After Care

  • Cost is a flat fee of $75 for the entire week and is not eligible for a member discount, and is not included in scholarships.
  • After Care runs from 3:00 pm - 5:45 pm each day of camp. Campers enrolled in After Care picked up after 5:45 will be charged $15 for each minute they remain in our care.
  • This service is only available to children registered in the camp occuring that week.
  • Is only availble for Full Day camps.
  • After Care time is free-choice play, and include crafts, games, puzzles, movies and other activities in the Celebration Center. Campers are welcome to bring a book to read, but are asked to leave other electronic devices at home.
     

Campers

  • For Early Learner camps, children must be 4 years old by the first day of camp.
  • For full day camps, children must be five years old by the first day of camp.
  • All campers must be able to use the restroom without direct adult assistance
     

What to Bring!

 

  • Lunch. We will provide snacks each day, but bring a lunch, or order lunch from our cafe using this form. Turn in the completed lunch order form no later than the moring lunch is needed. Note, Early Learner camps that end at 12:30 pm do not require a lunch!
  • Water bottles. Send campers with a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. We'll provide fresh water to refill them with. Camper who do not bring a water bottle each day will be asked to purchase water that morning.
  • Camp shirt & comfortable clothes. Wear a Kidspace Camp shirt every day and closed-toed shoes.
  • A change of clothes and a towel - we like to get messy at camp, so come prepared!
  • Sunscreen. Our space is primairly outside, so bring hats and wear sunscreen. 
     

Check In & Check Out
 

  • Check In & Out occur inside the museum in front of the Celebration Center.
  • Check in begins a15 minutes before the start of camp, except for Monday. On Monday we open camp check in 30 minutes before the start of camp to review paperwork.
  • Check out begins 15 minutes before the end of camp. If you have purchased After Care, campers can be picked up any time between the hours of 3:00pm - 5:45pm.  
  • Check out ALWAYS requires a valid ID. Campers will only be released to adults who present valid identification and are listed on the camp registration form

 

Important Kidspace Camp Information

  • Sick Campers: For the health and safety of other campers and our guests, please do not bring sick children to camp. Children must stay home at least 24 hours after symptoms such as a fever, vomiting, or diarrhea, subside.

  • Electronic devices at camp: Campers are asked to leave electronic devices such as phones, iPads, game consols, and the like at home, as they will not be permitted during the course of the day, incluing in After Care.

  • During regular operating hours, once a child has been signed out of camp, they and their immediate family are welcome to stay and enjoy the museum free of charge. Please check in with a sales associate before entering the museum.
