40 Days of Fun, July 6-August 16, weekday hours 9:30am-5:00pm, weekend hours 10:00am-5:00pm: This summer Kidspace is celebrating 40 years with 40 Days of Fun! Music, Motion, & Math, Saturdays, August 3-24, 10:00-11:30am: This summer session will focus on practicing pattern and sorting skills like making matches, identifying sets, and recognizing and creating patterns. For children ages 18 to 36 months. Fee is $150 per child and adult pair. REGISTER

Free Family Night, Tuesday, August 6, 4:00-8:00pm: Discover the Art of Food at Kidspace! Make art with food, practice your piping skills, and learn the tips and tricks of napkin folding. Kids Food Festival, Saturday & Sunday, August 17 & 18, 10:00am-3:00pm: New York City’s famous Kids Food Fest is coming to L.A.! Kidspace and The Creative Kitchen are teaming up for this interactive weekend to inspire healthy living and to teach how to make balanced food choices. Launch the new school year with tips for healthy lunches and family cooking recipes, try some yoga poses, and register for a 'Future Foodie' cooking class. Family Workshop: Beeswax Food Wraps, Sunday, August 25, 10:30am: Hey families! Learn how to make reusable and compostable food wraps out of fabric, beeswax, pine resin, and jojoba oil! Art Studio Project of the Month, Entire Month of August,12:00-4:00pm: Every month, bring your imagination and join Kidspace in the Storyteller Studio where Everyone Has A Story To Tell. In August, be a “Fine Art Foodie” with still life.

 

Imagination Workshop Project of the Month, Entire Month of August, 10:00am-4:00pm: Bring your ingenuity to Kidspace! In Imagination Workshop, the challenge is to prevent a culinary catastrophe through solving an engineering challenge in August.

 

Kidspace Children's Museum is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd., in Brookside Park, Pasadena, CA on 3.5 acres of both indoor and outdoor, interactive environments. The museum features over 40 hands-on exhibits with daily programs and monthly events for children ages 1 to 10. The mission of Kidspace is to nurture the potential of all children through kid-driven experiences, inspiring them to become joyful, active learners. Admission is $14 for adults and children. Free for children under one year.

Susan Cardosi-Albert, Assistant Director of Operations, has been with Kidspace Children's Museum since 2005 working in programs, events, retail, and communications.  Previous work includes the Los Angeles Zoo and COSI Science Center after gaining a BA in Communications and Children’s Literature.
