Spooky Fun at Kidspace

Our Monthly Projects are getting a Spooktacular Makeover in honor of our new event! Spooktacular: Monster Mash!

At Spooktacular, you'll get to meet your Ghost Host and encounter fun and frightful characters as you search for candy and other treats. Don’t forget to bring your own costume and treat bag!

The project at the art during the Spooktacular weekend is “Fraken-Art”. You can channel your inner Dr. Frankenstein and create a masterpiece of your own, using our spooky found materials and the other supplies and tools that will be available at the Art Table.

Then you can head on over to our Imagination Workshop, where we’re asking you to bring your own “Spooky-Friend” to life. You can use the Imagination Workshop’s classic recycled materials, special Halloween items and your own imagination to come up with your own little spooky friend to carry around with you. We hope to see you here at our debut Spooktacular: Monster Mash weekend!

Other frightfully fun activities around the museum include a costume parade with dancing, make "ectoplasm" at the slime station, and become a mad scientist with a "franken-art" project. Please note: Arroyo Adventure will close at 4:00pm to prep for Spooktacular each day, and Trike Tracks will be closed during the event.

Price is $14 per person, $10 per member, infants are free. A timed-ticket to the Monster Mash includes museum admission for the night. Please visit our website to learn more about Kidspace Spooktacular: Monster Mash and to purchase your timed-ticket.
