Appreciated Securities: Donors making gifts of appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual funds that have grown in value) earn an income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of their securities and avoid capital gain taxes on the transfer. To receive credit for the current calendar/tax year, the electronic transfer from an account or the postmark on the transmittal of the stock certificates must be no later than December 31. Please contact Jackie Rae Petta, Annual Giving Manager, at (626) 449-9144, ext. 5228 or jrpetta@kidspacemuseum.org for further instructions.

Bequests: A will provision allows you to make a substantial contribution without diminishing the assets available to you. Since bequests are deductible from your taxable estate, significant estate tax savings may be possible.

Real and Personal Property: A residence or other real property may be given as an outright gift, or you may prefer to give your home and retain the right to occupy the property for life. Personal property such as vehicles, boats, jewelry, and other tangible assets are valued gifts.

Corporate Sponsorship: Kidspace offers corporations exclusive opportunities to create long-lasting brand alliances with the Museum. An affiliation with Kidspace offers a diverse demography and strong brand identity via the Museum's onsite, offsite, and online presence. Each sponsorship opportunity is tailored to the unique specification of each partnering organization. Benefits can include site access, collateral and website recognition, and a presence during special events. Opportunities can range from the sponsorship of an event, an on-going program, or daily operations. Please contact Katie Lynch-Feige, Institutional Giving Manager, at (626) 449-9144, ext. 5209 or klfeige@kidspacemuseum.org to discuss opportunities for your corporation.
